DEVELOPING: Tanaka exits with stiff hamstrings

NEW YORK — Masahiro Tanaka‘s evening came to an abrupt ending in the sixth inning on Friday at Citi Field when the right-hander was removed from the Subway Series opener with stiff hamstrings shortly after scoring the tying run on an Aaron Judge sacrifice fly. He will be re-evaluated on Saturday. The Yankees went on to win, 4-1.
