LAS VEGAS — Markel Crawford and 2018 second-round pick Jevon Carter combined for 40 points to help the Memphis Grizzlies defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder in a Las Vegas Summer League consolation game at Cox Pavilion on Thursday evening.
The Grizzlies (2-2) laid the foundation for victory with a dominant first half in which they scored 24 points in each of the first two quarters. Their 48-27 halftime lead appeared safe, but the Thunder (2-2) would make a game of it in the second half.
