Mets break out in rout of Blue Jays

Devin Mesoraco made quite a first impression in Queens, which has been nothing but trouble for the Toronto Blue Jays over the years.

His batterymate wasn’t bad with the bat, either.

Mesoraco had a huge home debut for the Mets, and pitcher Noah Syndergaard knocked in two early runs against the team that traded him to rouse a sluggish New York offence Tuesday night during a 12-2 rout of the Blue Jays.
