Pacers' Collison to miss 2-3 weeks (knee surgery)

Indiana Pacers point guard Darren Collison will undergo left knee arthroscopic surgery Tuesday, the team announced Monday.

Collison is expected to return in two to three weeks.

Collison, 30, banged his knee against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday. He is averaging 12.8 points and 5.3 assists in his ninth NBA season.

Victor Oladipo, Indiana’s other starting guard, has an illness and also will miss Monday’s game against the Wizards. Lance Stephenson and Cory Joseph will start in their place.
